Our ‘home learning’ ensures that our students can access their learning during any absence from school.
Having a good routine and regular rest breaks is important so whilst we suggest students follow their normal timbale lessons and breaks we do understand that some students may need to access the home learning at a time that is most convenient to them and your family.
We are fully aware that not all students have access to technology within the home and often there is the additional challenge of sharing devices. This is why we provide every student with physical home learning books / booklets for each of their subjects. These booklets are available electronically in this section and available on Show my Homework. Students are also able to upload work and seek feedback from their teachers on Show my Homework.
As part of our Read to Succeed campaign all students in Year 7-11 have been gifted a reading book. During any absence it would be great if students could read for at least 20 minutes a day at home too as it will really help improve their vocabulary.
