A Christmas Carol

Year 10 and 11 students enjoyed a trip to Hull New Theatre to watch “A Christmas Carol”. The production was fantastic and captured Victorian London perfectly. The ghosts ranged from being entertaining to truly frightening; all presented Dickens’ important message about ‘the true meaning of Christmas’. Students are studying “A Christmas Carol” for GCSE English Literature and seeing the novella brought to life was a perfect revision aid. Students were praised for their exemplary behaviour and the performance was thoroughly enjoyed by all!
