A-Level History - Priory Visit
The A Level History Group visited the Priory Church and Reverend Pollard, as part of their course. The Priory Church is a brilliant example of the important changes in religion which occurred between 1485 and 1603; the time period of the A Level Tudor course. All the students in the group are ambitious to get into top universities, so this was a great opportunity for the students to develop the sort of deeper understanding which will increase their chances of gaining the top grades. The students had a good look round the Priory Church, listened to the Reverend Pollard talking about the changes in belief, such as The Bible being translated into English and the development of the Book of Common Prayer, they asked questions and will then change their findings into a presentation.
