Accessing Work

Message to all students on accessing work

Amazing efforts to all those of you for getting online, Well done, I am very proud of you.

Some of you have been in contact to say you are struggling to log onto Show My Homework and some of you are struggling to find the work in notice board. For step by step guide on how to get to the notice board, CLICK HERE. For a step by step guide on how to log on CLICK HERE.

The work on notice board is to keep you going for now, you will be delighted to know that we will be putting up optional Easter Holiday project work in the notice board section for the two weeks holiday so you don’t get bored.

As always we suggest you follow your normal school timetable when selecting school work to complete. Developing a routine of school work mixed with regular breaks is really important to be able to keep this going for a period of time. Can I recommend PE with Jo Wicks streamed every day at 9am on YouTube as a great and safe way to get some exercise. You can always catch this later in the day if you need. Every day try to get up at a similar time as on a school day, get washed and dressed, eat well, follow your timetable, take breaks, drink lots of water, wash your hands regularly, socialise with friend and family virtually and go to bed as you would on a school night.

After Easter your class teachers will have your online learning ready for you to follow in the normal calendar view where you would normally see your homework. More details to follow ready for after Easter.

This is a very difficult time for everybody and we encourage you to simply try your very best, it is not going to be like it is in front of your teacher and no one expects parents or carers to become subject specialists as they continue with their essential roles for the family or community. Just try your very best.

Please do stay safely at home and follow the government socials distancing rules.

As always email me on school office email if you think there is anything I can help with.

Stay Safe
