Big Fun trip for Bridlington School students

Year 10 students from Bridlington School enjoyed a fun-filled day trip out to a play centre in Hull.

The trip to Big Fun was for students who are part of the Bridlington School’s Achievement for All programme, which assigns youngsters a ‘key teacher’ to help them reach their potential at school.

Teacher Clare Gardiner, said: “The 12 students went along with their key teachers to Big Fun for the launch of this year’s Achievement for All programme.

“Each student is matched with a key teacher who works with a student and families. They get set targets and they are mentored.

“It helps them with their academic work and pastoral issues. It means that they have got a dedicated staff member there for them at all times.”

The programme was also run last year and is coordinated by Clare and teacher Daniel Wilbor.
