Bridlington School receives a letter from Buckingham Palace!

Year 7 students are currently studying Energy as part of their Physics course. They have studied the advantages and disadvantages of renewable energy. As part of their extended writing in Science students wrote letters to Theresa May the Prime Minister and the Queen where they made a case for increasing the use of renewable energy sources.

We were delighted to receive a response from Buckingham Palace and from the Houses of Parliament congratulating our students for their active citizenship and for making a positive contribution to issues facing all of us today.

Of particular note is the work of Cerys Maltby, Jessica Andrew and Tia Court pictured above with the response from The Palace.
