Covid-19 update

Today we have been informed of a positive case of Covid-19 in Year 10.

The student was last in school Friday 6th November. They had no symptoms when in school. They developed symptoms on Saturday 7th November when they started their self-isolation.

The school is deep cleaned at the end of every school day.

We have identified 80 students in Year 10 who are direct contacts because they were in the lesson or were in close contact at break time or lunchtime on Thursday and Friday (48 hours before the symptoms started). The parents / carers of these 80 students have been informed. Letter can be seen here.

The letter for the rest of the school can be seen here.

Please see the table to see which students should be in school and who should be self-isolating.

Students who are absent can start home learning, booklets, books, on Show my Homework or on the Home Learning tab of website. 6th form will be working on Microsoft Teams.

We fully support parents and carers who are wishing their child to access home learning at this time please do contact us.

If you are unsure if your child needs to self-isolate or you have any queries please contact the school on
