Drama students take centre stage

The Bridlington school A-level drama students performed a thirty-minute set of Agatha Christie’s The Rats. The play is about two adulterous lovers who are invited to a flat for drinks, but when they arrive there is no one there. What first appears to be a simple mix up turns into something far more sinister when the pair are locked in and then framed for murder.

The performance comes as part of the All England Theatre Festival in which theatre companies present a one-act play and compete to win titles such as ‘best actress’ - which one of our students, Molly Green was nominated for!

Unfortunately, Bridlington was not part of the competition but Molly’s performance was commended by the judges, teachers and her peers.

Well done to all involved, you were amazing!
