Harvest Festival Celebrations

Year 7 students at Bridlington School held their annual Harvest Festival Assembly last Friday. The students sang with gusto and listened to Harvest Poems.

Mr Parker-Randall delivered a thought provoking speech based on sharing (and doughnuts!). He recalled his time in Sierra Leone and reminded the students of how fortunate we are.
The foodstuffs that were donated will now be used by Christchurch in their Doorstep project, which helps provide food for the homeless.

Mrs Nicholson (Head of Lower School) said "We would very much like to thank the parents/carers of the Bridlington students for their generosity. The Harvest Assembly provides us with the opportunity to help out members of local community via Christchurch."
