Bridlington School Sports College A level student Natasha McDermott is delighted to be offered a place in the University of Oxford’s summer school in July.
Competition for the places is extremely high with 4400 students applying this year. The summer school is the University of Oxford’s flagship widening access programme. All students currently in their first year of sixth form studies at UK state schools are eligible to apply. Natasha will study Earth Sciences for a week between 21st July – 26 July, attending lectures and seminars by Oxford academics, and will be mentored by current undergraduates.
