Remembrance

Bridlington School CCF staff and cadets once again joined with the Royal British Legion and other local groups in this year’s Remembrance Parade.

In what was probably the coldest and definitely wettest service that many of the attendees could remember, the cadets proved an absolute credit to the school, with every one of them completing the parade in great form.

We were particularly grateful to Emillie Clarkson, who carried our Standard, Isobel Waldie, who stood as a silent guard at the memorial and Keane Heslop and Sam Downsworth who laid the wreath.

Cadets were also proud to be able to join Sir Eric Hudson at the launch of this year’s poppy appeal.
