School uniform update

What do I need to do about school uniform?

As you know our school uniform policy has temporarily been adapted to allow non-uniform until the end of this academic year. Parents requested this to ensure they could wash their child’s clothes every day after they attended school as per government guidance.

Many of you are asking about what uniform you will need to buy for next academic year.

Recognising the financial challenges many of our families are facing and whilst we await further Government guidance on the wider return of students to secondary schools for the new academic year, I would like to advise parents / carers that I will be reviewing with Governors on 30th June whether we need to extend the current temporary adaptation to the school uniform policy and allow non-school uniform until January.

I will of course keep you updated with any information about September as we receive guidance from the government.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming back some of  our Year 10 and Year 12 students next week as we begin our face to face contact to support their home learning.

Should have you any questions or queries or need support just get in touch with the team on and we will do all we can to help.

Stay safe
