Sixth formers selected to visit Cambridge

Some of our Sixth Form students were delighted to be selected to attend a 2 day residential at Kings College Cambridge

The students had a varied itinerary. They attended tours of the university campus and formal activities that included the university application and selection processes. Also, tips on how to prepare successfully for interviews and writing personal statements. The presentations and the tours were led by Kings students and they had their meals in the amazing formal dining room.

On the second day students had the opportunity to tour the chapel in Kings and visited the Museum of Classical Archaeology and the Scott Polar Research Institute.

"This was inspirational because it widened my view on universities across the country." Kyle Martin

"I learned about the college system & application process. We got to see the city as well and learned some unusual facts." Heather McCall

"I learned about university life - thank you for taking me" Katie McMillan
