Year 6 Induction Days 5th and 6th July 2018

Bridlington School welcomed its prospective Year 7 students on Thursday 5th and Friday 6th July for their Transition Days. There was a mixture of nervous anticipation and excitement as the students met their new tutor group for the first time before a welcome assembly and taster lessons to give them a flavour of what’s to come in September. All lessons were World Cup themed with quizzes, science practicals, poster designs and textiles printing work. There was a tutor group sports competition (won by 7SBa), involving field and track events.

As well as academic experiences, the delights of the school tuck shop and dining room met with approval, with the break time queue stretching around the dining room and out of the door, such was the demand for the food on offer!

Mrs Nicholson (Head of Lower School) said how impressed we all are with the behaviour and attitude of all the Year 6 students. We are looking forward to welcoming our new Year 7’s to join us on our exciting journey in September.
