Another fantastic week for our students at Bridlington School! Here’s our Weekly Roundup for students and parents who may have missed our updates throughout the week across social media.
Outdoor Education Centre
Some of our Year 10 PE students recently visited East Barnby Outdoor Education Centre to complete a range of activities such as beck scrambling and kayaking.
A brilliant, although cold and wet, day was had by all students!
New School Library
From a disused toilet to a new library space: we’re thrilled to announce that our new school library is open.
To celebrate, we timed it with World Book Day, where staff dressed up in bookish costumes.
We’re delighted that the students are enjoying it.
We’ve had another donation of some beautiful dresses, which are all dry cleaned and ready for prom. The dresses are available to hire from our prom shop for £15.
If parents and students would like to book an appointment to have a look and try the dresses on, please contact Mrs Baxter on class charts to arrange an appointment time.
Duke of Edinburgh
Our Year 12 and 13 students took a trip to the Yorkshire Dales to complete their Gold Duke of Edinburgh Practice Expedition. They successfully navigated a really challenging route, including one of the Yorkshire 3 peaks, and wild camping for two nights.
Well Done everyone, your endurance is admirable!
