Weekly Social Media Roundup – February 2023 (Week 1)
Another fantastic week for our students at Bridlington School! Here’s our Weekly Roundup for students and parents who may have missed our updates throughout the week across social media.
Year 9 GCSE Options Evening
It was fantastic to see such a great turnout for our Year 9 GCSE Options Evening last Thursday.
We hope the evening helped our students to make informed choices about their next steps of their journey at Bridlington School.
Year 11 Immersive History
WW1 re-enactors from Frontline Living History delivered talks to our Year 11 History students this week to help bring the realities of trench warfare to life.
Humber School Cross Country
On a challenging windy day, five of our students from Y7 and Y8 performed fantastically in the Humber School Cross Country races at Scunthorpe.
Annabelle Miller (Y7) and her sister Becky Miller (Y8) both achieved 3rd place in their races, against over 100 athletes from all over the Humberside area.
Becky has now qualified for the English Schools Cross Country Championships in March, an amazing achievement!
Our Y7 boys also performed well, with Ted Imeson gaining 15th place and Isaac McNulty coming in 67th.
Brodey Drake from Y8 also ran with determination and came 19th overall.
Well done to them all!
