Weekly Social Media Roundup – March 2023 (Week 2)
Another fantastic week for our students at Bridlington School! Here’s our Weekly Roundup for students and parents who may have missed our updates throughout the week across social media.
RAF Flight Instructor
Four cadets from the School’s RAF section of our CCF, were lucky enough to go gliding at RAF Topcliffe with Flying Officer Green. All of the cadets were able to take 2 flights each in a Viking T1 Glider with an RAF Flight Instructor. For most, it was their first flight in a glider and was an amazing experience for them.
After their flights, the cadets had a presentation on the science of how the gliders work, and then were instructed on the Flight Simulators.
A very enjoyable and educational day for our cadets, who did their School and CCF proud.
Hull Combined Courts Year 12 Visit
Our Year 12 Law group recently visited the Hull Combined Courts to see our legal system in action.
They all looked very smart in their suits and formal clothes for the visit – we hope all who attended enjoyed the experience!
Year 10 Work Experience
On Thursday 2nd March our Year 10 food students visited McDonalds to find out how a global fast-food business operates and explore potential career pathways.
This marked the beginning of an exciting business link partnership with the ADT department. Staff at McDonalds commented on the impeccable behaviour and outstanding attitude of our students. Well done to all!
