Weekly Social Media Roundup – November 2022 (Week 1)

Another fantastic week for our students at Bridlington School! Here’s our Weekly Roundup for students and parents who may have missed our updates throughout the week across social media.
Autumn Half Term
“Our RAF Cadets took their first flight in a Grob Viking Glider at RAF Topcliffe recently ✈️
Everyone gained their blue wings badge – and even took control of the aircraft during their flight!
The Cadets also completed ground training using Flight Simulators and had a very enjoyable day with Flying Officer Green and Pilot Officer Drew 👏🏻”
Students of the Week
“🌟 STUDENTS OF THE WEEK 🌟
The #StudentsOfTheWeek winners for last week are in… SWIPE to find out ➡️
A huge well done to these students who have perfectly demonstrated our TORCH values.
Keep up the good work!”
Cross Country Championships
“A huge well done to our students at the East Riding Cross Country Championships 👏
Annabelle Miller came 1st in the Y7 race, and her sister Becky came 2nd in the Y8 race.
In the Y7 boys race, Ted Imeson and Isaac McNulty did exceptionally well to finish 12th and 14th – out of 103 runners!
Brodey Drake from Y8 was 11th overall.
Erin Gummerson came 9th in her Y10 race.
Special mention to Harrison Cockcroft who took part in the Intermediate race 🤩”
STEM Club
“STEM brings together Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths subjects. 🧬
Recently, our STEM Club were engineering spaghetti towers. The criteria was to build the highest tower with only spaghetti and marshmallows.”
