Weekly Social Media Roundup – September 2022 (Week 3)
Last week was another fantastic week for our students at Bridlington School! Here’s the first edition of our Weekly Roundup for students and parents who may have missed our updates throughout the week across social media.
Let’s Get Real About Recycling!
This week is Recycle Week!
We’re encouraging students to think about ways we can all recycle more to help the planet, as always our Eco Club has had some great ideas.
Broadening Horizons
Last week 60 of our students joined us to see Professor Brian Cox on his Horizons Tour. This was a fantastic opportunity for both students and staff to learn more about the Universe – though there’s still so much to learn!
National Fitness Day
There are plenty of ways to stay active at Brid School outside of your PE lessons, why not join one of our sports teams?
For students looking for more of a challenge, we also have our very own Combined Cadet Force open to Year 8-13s.
Sixth Form Open Evening
Our Sixth Form open evening takes place on Thursday 29th September from 4-6:30pm.
Year 11 students and parents are invited to join us to learn more about life at our Sixth Form. There’s no need to book, just turn up on the night!
Student Success
Our very own Liam Jordan has been selected into the Archery GB’s Training Academy, having recently won Gold at the Youth Festival for Under 18 Recurve Men!
A fantastic achievement as a student who was completing GCSE’s alongside his archery commitments.
ADT – Work of the Week
Our students have been producing some fantastic pieces of art this week. Here’s a look at our ADT – Work of the Week, created by:

- Isabelle Croft (2nd image)
- Paddy Giles (3rd image)
Well done students!
