Grade 6A

(£29,777 to £31,364 FTE, £26,501 to £27,913 actual)

 

37 hours per week TT (including training days) + additional 5 days to be worked during school closure periods.

 

Bridlington School is seeking a dynamic and well organised individual to undertake a new role as Analytics and Administration Manager.

 

The Role

 

Data analysis is vital to the strategic planning of the curriculum and teaching and learning.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage the people and systems responsible for providing leaders with accurate and timely Data, including the management of information systems. This includes assisting the Associate Headteacher with the administrative tasks that enable the creation of the whole school timetable.  You will have line management responsibility for the Exams and Data team supporting with the Census and Tables Checking.

 

The Team

 

The exams and data team are a core team within student services and is located in the heart of the school.  Their roles are extensive and overlap in function with a variety of school teams.

Bridlington School is a successful 11-18 maintained school with over 1,000 students on roll, a number which is rising year on year as our reputation as a centre of excellence grows within the local area.  We have a small but thriving sixth form; the growth of this is an ambition for the school.  Students are polite, respectful and keen to learn, 49% are entitled to free school meals, 25% are also on the SEN register; predominantly due to difficulties with literacy and numeracy skills.

About You

The successful candidate will:

  • Have degree level qualification or equivalent level of experience
  • Knowledge of a range of analytical methods and techniques, including statistical analysis
  • Knowledge of a range of tools and systems for data analysis and presentation including MS PowerBi and advanced MS Excel Skills
  • Advanced knowledge of the processes and procedures relating to data protection, with awareness of the regulations and legislation.
  • Experience of undertaking a range of analysis and producing a portfolio of reports.
  • Experience of query building and developing datasets and reports.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and activities.
  • Ability to present and explain data analyses and reports, and translate technical concepts and information into more accessible language and presentation formats for non-specialists.

This role has been matched to a Grade 6A on the new ERYC pay grades.
